Do I make eye contact 100% of the time? In this modern age, we often conduct business with little face-to-face contact? What does that mean for your business? We need to take every opportunity for face time as an opportunity to really connect.
So how would you answer the question?

With business people today having more to do in less time, getting in front of key clients is becoming increasingly difficult. As a result, face to face contact is less often the case for business-to-business (B2B) sales. This trend certainly adds value to the weekly meetings with the other PBL members, and is a key reason I drive about 90 minutes round trip to spend a couple of hours with @40 business professionals every Wednesday morning.
Alan, I agree. “Electronic” and other marketing forms of communication, while efficient and rich resources, can make vetting authenticity and trust trickier. Most of my referrals, both given and received, originate from old-fashioned, face-to-face connections by which relationships have been built.
